Hello there, today I’ll show a simple data exploration using python with Pandas and some libraries to plot the data
- Python (obviously)
- Jupyter Notebook
- (Pandas library, matploblib and seaborn)
Download and import into your Jupiter Notebook this *zip below:
Inside the zip we have 2 archives: pokemon.csv and pokemon.ipynb
You have to import the pokemon.ipynb and pokemon.csv inside your Jupyter Notebook
So you can perceive that we’ll use a simple dataset of Pokemons for a more friendly explanation
Reading the dataset
So, everything working, (apparently) ahahaha
Plotting the first graphic
Lets explore the data, above we saw a plot showing the second type of the Pokemon’s (some pokemons
can be of 2 distinct types) and below we see the a plot that show the obligatory type of Pokemon’s (Type 1)
all Pokemon’s need this information.
In the type 2 we have more Flying Pokemon’s that Water Kind
The strongest and the weakest Pokemon
We can filter using the column attack to sorting and show the strongest and weakest Pokemon’s
Correlations and linear regression
We can plot also a correlation map and linear regression of our Pokemon’s, let’s check
the example and try.
So we can see the medium, quartiles and the outliers of the dataset (look to the HP ahahaha)
Actually, the objective of this post is only to try yourself to figure out some kinds of simples plot, practice and learn more.
have fun 🙂
